This Premium Mirror designed for CarVision features an embedded A grade super wide 7.2″LCD Display with built in option SPLIT SCREEN ( 2 images at once ) that captures the crystal clear image from the rear view camera .The 7.2″ LCD display automatically comes on once reverse is selected along with the CarVision camera. When combined up to 4 cameras (Rear,Front, Right/Left Side) , the monitor can reveal multiple blind spots you may not otherwise see , perfect for cars , wide vehicles , caravans , Trailers or vehicles with Custom made steel boxes mount ted in the back.
This monitor combined with a premium CarVision camera can be wired up for constant (on all the time) viewing whilst driving , especially for vehicles with poor visibility , no vision through the rear back window , towing a Caravan , Horse Float or large trailers.
The CV-043AB7D LCD Monitor has a Auto Brightness Control. Auto Brightness is essential to the rear view mirror , it can sense ambient light and auto adjust the 7.2″ LCD monitor to optimum affect. The brightness is different at daytime , dusk and night time , so on a bright sunny day the monitor will adjust to a full brightness to eliminate sun glare when reversing.
The CV-043AB7D has built in Adjustable Park Lines . Regular Park Lines are from the camera which are not accurate enough for the driver , because some reverse cameras are mounted on the left , right , centre or under , some vehicles are sedan , hatch , SUV . There is a great difference between fixed park lines and real park lines . Drivers can manually adjust and get accurate guide lines by using a special remote supplied.
This monitor has 4 AV inputs which allows up to 4 cameras to connect , which you can select/control vis the hidden smart touch screen menu control which automatically illuminates once touched and hides again after 10 seconds.
Like all CarVision mirrors , this monitor housing is made of High quality plastic PC-ABC to withstand the Australian conditions compared to other mirrors which have ABS lower grade plastic.
Our Glass is 4mm thickness which is more secure and strong , compare to others 1.8mm to 3mm.
The Diameter of the Mounting Bracket tube is larger , it has a internal spring for stiffness and adjustability , ball joint end pressed in the back of the housing not screwed in .
